Good Product.Siper finishing. Looking good. Safe packaging. Easy installation. Fast heating. Safety fixtures Reasonable rate. Happy to purchase it.
I purchased this Crompton water heater in March. On Diwali morning, it had a small issue, and I raised a complaint. I was really impressed — the technician visited my home by 3 PM on the same day, even on the festival day, and solved it quickly. Excellent one-day service and great customer support from Crompton. Highly satisfied!"
I am beyond disappointed with my recent purchase of a Crompton geyser. What I thought would be a straightforward acquisition turned into a frustrating and costly ordeal, revealing severe lapses in quality control, product completeness, and even basic safety considerations.Firstly, the **geyser body had a noticeable dent on arrival**. This is completely unacceptable for a brand new appliance and immediately made me question the product's handling and packaging. It looked like a second-hand item, not something I paid full price for.Adding to the frustration, I discovered that **crucial inlet and outlet pipes were missing and needed to be purchased separately.** This is a fundamental flaw! **Buying this geyser doesn't mean buying a complete product; it literally means you're just buying the box, not a functional appliance.** It's like buying a car without wheels – utterly useless on its own. This hidden cost and inconvenience are completely misleading and infuriating.Furthermore, the **fasteners provided were of incredibly poor quality and surprisingly small**. What's more concerning is that for a big 25-liter geyser, **Crompton only provides two fasteners.** This is a serious safety concern! My previous 15-liter KENSTAR geyser, a smaller unit, came with four robust fasteners, providing far better support and peace of mind. Relying on just two flimsy fasteners for a heavy, water-filled appliance feels incredibly unsafe and reflects a shocking disregard for customer safety. I had to source better quality, larger, fasteners myself just to feel confident that the unit wouldn't come crashing down.To add insult to injury, I was informed that there would be an **extra charge for installation**. For a brand new product, especially one that arrives with manufacturing/transit defects like a dent, is incomplete (missing essential pipes!), and comes with insufficient/unsafe mounting hardware, expecting customers to pay additional for basic installation is ridiculous. This effectively negates any perceived "deal" and makes the overall cost much higher than anticipated, especially when combined with the need to buy proper pipes and fasteners. It simply doesn't make sense for a new appliance that should ideally come with complimentary or integrated installation.Overall, this has been a thoroughly frustrating, unexpectedly expensive, time-consuming, and frankly, concerning experience from a safety perspective. I expected a complete, undamaged, and ready-to-install product with proper, safe hardware from a reputable brand like Crompton. Instead, I received a half-finished product that required multiple trips to hardware stores, additional expenses, and left me questioning its long-term safety. I strongly advise potential buyers to look elsewhere (preferably KENSTAR) unless they enjoy dealing with damaged goods, incomplete products, substandard and insufficient parts, hidden installation fees, and potential safety hazards. Save yourself the headache and the extra money!
genuine product. good in quality. very good and simple design. cost worthy. have all safety protection like valve. there is no connection pipes but included bolts is fine . first one recived in not working condition. but amazon and seller also arrange hassle free replacement. 2nd product is works very well. genuine seller too.
